What is a danger tree?
A danger tree is a tree that has a likelihood of falling into an area with people or possessions (cars, buildings, etc.) We excel at removing trees in precarious positions -before they cause damage.
Is this tree a threat to me or MY Property?
We can come to your home, inspect any trees you may be concerned about, and give you a bid on our removal services.
Some common characteristics of danger trees:
- A “Y” or crotch in the tree (more susceptible to cracking)
- Leaning
- Within falling distance from buildings
- Root failure (exposed, rotten, or decaying roots)
- Dead or rotten branches
- Visible Cracks
- Rotted or decaying wood
- Bugs
- Excessive pitch
- Branches near power lines
Removal Methods
No two trees are the same. With an expert eye, we can help you determine how dangerous a tree can be. Using the proper tools and professional methods, we can give each tree its due consideration and caution to ensure your safety.
Sectioning: Sectioning is done by cutting sections off of the tree from the top down. This method has a small drop zone and is good for close quarters.
Falling: Some trees are too unstable to climb for sectioning. They may be rotten, cracked, or too slim. We can drop these in one piece, guiding the tree to land in an area free from people or buildings.
Stump Removal
Don’t want to get stuck with some gnarly stumps causing an eyesore in your yard after having your trees taken down? During the same job, we can take care of the stumps for you too. We will grind up the stumps and clean up the area after removing it so you will be completely done.
